What you need
Your computer and your TV on the same home network. Some routers keep Wi-Fi and cable devices apart, and some TVs only accept devices from their own network, so if the TV is not found, that is the first thing to check.

Sofaflick never learns what you watch. The video goes from your computer to your TV on your own network.

Questions
Why do I need the Sofaflick app?
A browser cannot find devices on your home network or serve a video file to them. The Sofaflick app does that on your computer, and the extension just tells it what to play.
My computer warns about an unknown publisher. Is it safe?
The Sofaflick app is not signed with a paid certificate yet, so Windows and macOS show a warning for programs from small developers. On Windows choose More info, then Run anyway. On macOS open System Settings, Privacy and Security, and choose Open Anyway. To be sure the file is the one we published, compare its SHA-256 with the one on this page.
Does Sofaflick download or keep videos?
No. The video streams from the website to your TV through your computer. Nothing is saved.
Does it track what I watch?
No. The posts and videos you play, their addresses and the names of your devices stay on your computer and are never sent to us. Read the privacy policy for what we do process.
Do I need to register?
No. There is no account and no sign up. You install the app and the extension and press the button. If you buy the full version, you pay once, and your email is used only for the purchase and to restore it on another computer.
Which websites work?
The ones in the list above. New ones are added over time.
My TV is not found. What now?
Check that the TV is on and on the same network as your computer. Then write to us with the TV model. If you allow anonymous reports, the app can tell us what failed, without any links or names.
I changed computers. Do I pay again?
No. Use Restore purchase in the extension and enter the email you paid with. We send you a code. One purchase works on up to 3 computers.

No. Sofaflick is an independent product. The websites are not involved in it and do not endorse it.
